In Theaters Now: Waiting For Gasol

After beating the Hornets in the first round, Phil Jackson announced he would be leaving the team early to start his new career. That new career, acting. But for those of you thinking he's leaving some unfinished business on the court, don't worry, because the whole team has helped him in his new venture on stage. The first gig is a re-imagined version of Samuel Beckett's play "Waiting on Godot," the plot line follows:

"Two men, Phil and Jack, wait endlessly and in vain for someone named Gasol to arrive."

The show opened in Los Angeles and Dallas to middling reviews. According to sources, two of the first three nights were stunning with last minute plot twists that could make you cry or hurl. And for some, both. The other night, a bore. Absolutely no emotion out of the actors, as if the actors didn't even want to be there. Now, there are four more nights scheduled, but according to rumors it might not last through today's show, which will be available on telecast by ABC at 3:30.
