Atlanta Braves Complete Their Sweep of the Phillies
In Bravos, In MLB, In rain or shine, In Teach, In The TemptationsJuly 3, 2009
For the first time all year, the Braves have won four games in a row, and three of the those wins were against first place Philadelphia. The Braves outscored the Phillies 21-7 in the series, which means that this series wasn't just won by the Braves pitching; the hitting might be coming around.
The Braves are now 2 games back of the Phillies and only 2 games below .500, and, with a 3 game series against the Nationals coming up this weekend, I guess you could say, "I've got sunshine/ On a cloudy day."
