(1) Alabama v (19) USC @ 3:30 on CBS
Langston: South Carolina is coming off of a bye week, has the best freshman running back in the country, and is playing a team that is coming off of two straight weeks against top-10 opponents; they appear to be a great upset pick. However, they only have two weapons at their disposal, Marcus Lattimore and Alshon Jeffrey. Lattimore can do damage whenever he wants, but with the Tide throwing 7 in the box and doubling up on Alshon someone else from USC will need to step up. I don't see that happening. Bama 24, USC 17.
(12) LSU v (14) UF @ 7:30 on ESPN
Langston: The loss to LSU still stings. Coach Dooley's first marquee win was taken away by an idiotic decision to sub in players after Les Miles' brain exploded. While LSU survived a nightmarish scenario, Florida is coming off of the worst beatdown of the Urban era. I fully expect Florida to bounce back, and take advantage of Les' mental shortcomings. The Gator defense matches-up well with the 6th ranked LSU defense. And with the atrocious LSU offense going 3-and-out early and often, the offense for UF will have a short field all day long. The Gators win, and LSU goes from the worst 5-0 team in the country to the worst 5-1 team in the country. Florida 28, LSU 10.
