Number of the Day: George Karl's 1,000th
In Denver Nuggets, In George Karl, In NBA, In number of the dayDecember 11, 2010
Not sure what else there is to say other than the number. It's a testament to the man and the players he's coached, to longevity, and now to his battle with throat cancer. The man is an ambassador of the game, a branch of the Dean Smith tree, and one of the best coaches the League has ever seen. Congratulatory remarks are due.
