Bruce Springsteen won't be saying "Clarence, the sax man" anymore, and the E Street Band just lost all those shades of midnight blue and sunset pink. My parents' marriage just became a lot less intimate, and the world grew more silent. Clarence Clemons is dead. May he rest in peace, his love and compassion made the pain and hunger in Bruce's songs bearable.

June 20, 2011 at 3:26 PMI'm fine with that. I feel like the sax solo gets it all out and then it feels okay, at least that's what it does for me...moves from one place and into another.
