Editor's Note

I am back from my unannounced sabbatical from blogging. It was unannounced because when it started out I was just trying to stay away from the computer for a couple days so I didn't obsess over my brackets. I typically do that every year and end up changing it so much, that I end up hurting my bracket more than I help it. Yet I had no idea how much work for my classes I would have and it turns out that this little hobby of mine was the one thing that was affected.

However I won't be posting on the sports world until tomorrow, because I have been tinkering with a new look for the blog, so if the blog looks like crap its probably because its in the middle of my HTML edits. I don't know if I will change it at all. but you never know. I also wanted to take this time to thank all (four) of you for your continued support of the LCB. Anyways since your here why don't you watch this clip?

Once again we have big news to announce, another great addition to our team of writers. He is a graduate of George Mason University and a current graduate student at the University of Mary Washington. He is a follower of NASCAR and the PGA tour, and will provide great coverage on both. I will be away for a couple days of vacation in fantastic Nags Head. I will be back to update you on all the mundane and idiotic videos you pine for, on Sunday night. Berdon will be away as well at Bethany Beach in Delaware, but hopefully Teach will drop in and keep you entertained. Remember when lighting a firework set it down before lighting it and then step away.

We have already started our NFL previews, but I wanted to give you some information on how we are doing this. Each of the contributors will be writing for 10 teams, except for me I will be covering 12. We are releasing the teams in order of worst to first in our own Power Rankings. We got these Power Rankings by averaging together our three power rankings. This is a meaningless post. I just wanted to give you a heads up on what the numbers meant on each preview title. Once we get to #1 we will release the Power Ranking votes from each writer and update them as we see fit throughout the season.

On another note, we recently added the RSS feed and ATOM feed, meaning whenever we post something it will show up on your news feed. You can set it up by going to the right side of the screen and clicking on it. Its pretty simple. If you would like to know more about RSS and ATOM feeds click here.
