These "prominent" quarterbacks include Aaron Brooks, Byron Leftwich, and Quinn Gray. Sorry but didn't Aaron Brooks lead the Raiders to an 0-7 record in 2006? Whenever someone uses prominent and the names of Aaron Brooks and Quinn Gray in the same sentence, their entire argument is valueless. He also fails to mention that the teams that last released Quinn Gray(Jaguars) and Aaron Brooks(Raiders) both have African-American quarterbacks.

Adding fuel to the fire, Favre reportedly contacted Minnesota Vikings coaches. Favre tried to pull this off on the DL, but used a Packers phone to make the calls and the Packers learned of the calls when they checked the records. Meanwhile, the NFL Network reported that Green Bay is sending out feelers to assess Favre’s value on the trade market.
