Bas Rutten or Bas Jones? You decide

Last year clips of Bas Rutten's self defense hit youtube. It was an immediate hit with the utter ridiculousness of how brutal his self defense methods are. If you never seen any of the clips, here you go:

Obviously a classic video like that could not be made without parodies soon to follow. Most of the videos have not been able to hold a candle to the original, that is until comedian Daryn Jones and MTV Live got together to create a couple of their own.



Of course Daryn Jones could not have made these clips without Bas Rutten making a totally insane reaction clip.


If I had to choose between the original and the parody, I would go with Bas Rutten over Bas Jones. As we wouldn't have the latter without the former. Thoughts?
