Favre traded to the New York Jets
In Brett Favre, In divorce, In Green Bay Packers, In Jets, In Langston, In NFLAugust 7, 2008
As a Raider fan watching this entire situation go down and reading Teach's breakup letters, it makes me sad. Sad that the Packer fans lost their guy, sad that Favre will look stupid on Sunday(he won't look right in any other jersey), sad for the fans who have stuck by him every step of this process. The whole entire fiasco reminds me of a messy divorce; with the Packers as the wife, Brett as the husband, and the fans as the children. This whole thing started as dad hit his mid-life crisis and decided to get a separation from Mom and then tried to move back in, but mom noticed he was flirting with her cute and single next door neighbors; Chicago and Minnesota. Mom had enough and got a divorce, but mom didn't waste any time moving on. Aaron Rodgers, mom's new younger boyfriend, was nice but he isn't dad and never will be. So dad has to leave, but where to? Sure dad would rather be with one of the single women down the street, so he could be closer to home and closer to his children. But mom acted fast and got a restraining order to make sure dad was nowhere close. Now that dad's potential new wife, and the children's potential new step-mother, the New York Jets are in the picture. They are mean ugly women, but at least mom won't have to see him with them but once every couple of years. I just hope the children don't blame this divorce on themselves. It was time for mom and dad to move on; the factors were money, attention, and it had nothing to do with the kids. Remember Packer fans its not your fault, don't blame yourselves. It is official dad and his new girlfriend the Jets are getting married. The wedding will be held in beautiful Florham New Jersey (Sounds like a fake town doesn't it?). Good luck with your new wife, I bet you don't make it to Valentines Day.

I'm a big Marshall Thundering Herd fan and a Chad Pennington loyalist, so my reason for not liking this trade is purely emotional.

Yeah initially I didn't think of Chad, he is a Knoxville native much like my dad. We always pulled for him, I hope he gets another chance to play,
