-I'm not really sure what to make of Amy Winehouse, her life, and her death, but here's an article by Jay Caspian King (who's probably writing the most consistently interesting/possibly brilliant stuff over at Grantland).
-And, to go with King's article on Winehouse, here is the worst article I've seen on the tragedy of Amy Winehouse in the last couple of days. This article was brought to my attention by Jason Diamond, and, seriously, it ends with the following conclusion: "And today, in honour of Amy Winehouse, I am going to go to the gym. For the first time in about six months. She's just reminded me why I should."
-Glenn Beck continues to say dumb things. If he had a point worth making here, he should have at least waited until the deceased were in their graves and Norway was through the mourning process, which is an ongoing process, so maybe he should have just kept his Nazi Youth analogy to himself.
-GQ lists America's top ten douchiest colleges and universities, and The Atlantic debates the list. Spoiler: the following video reveals number one:

I like that the guy who wrote a rebuttal in Cornell's favor is wearing a backwards cap and two shirts simultaneously, as if that look is going to help his case.
