LCB Exclusive: Charles Woodson's Uppercut Training Video

September 9, 2011

Last night, many people were shocked, awed, and disgusted by Charles Woodson's actions against the Saints, when he punched David Thomas twice in the gut, but considering what Woodson did with his offseason, we're actually quite lucky that he didn't crawl inside Thomas' shoulder pads and come bursting out in a tempest of blood.

I didn't understand how he was flagged but then not thrown out of the game.

The refs were probably thrown off by the fact that he actually made contact. How many times does a guy throw a punch and completely whiff? Other than that, I really have no idea.
