What's it like to witness a college football team score 82 points in a single game? The end of time.

October 27, 2014

Yesterday, TCU won a game by the score of 82-27. The last time I saw such a score I was playing in a Church Basketball League. I was on the team that scored 27. Our opponents from Mt. Zion or Shiloh something or other dunked all over us. Because it was a Church League, they received technical fouls for every attempted dunk. They must have attempted fifty-something dunks that day because I think we scored all out points from the foul line. It was ridiculous, but it wasn't as ridiculous as what TCU did.

Coming Soon: RISK – NCAA Edition

September 17, 2011

Thanks to a connection at Parker Brothers, I can now report that the NCAA has teamed up with the family board game maker to release a sponsored edition of "RISK," as evidenced by the leaked game cover above. If you can recall your childhood, you'll remember "RISK" as the game where the main goal is global domination over your opponents. Now, it hasn't been confirmed why this partnership has occurred, but we can only assume that the monetary benefits were too big to ignore.

I 'm not sure how well this will go over with fans of both sides, but I can assume it will end like many of the games of "RISK" I was involved in as a youth, with no one winning and everyone involved on the verge of throwing punches. Actually, I'm pretty sure every game of "RISK" ever played has ended that way. No one wins, ever.

The release date has not yet been announced, but many board game insiders are guessing anywhere between 11 to 27 months. At the moment, no price has been set, but many of those same insiders are saying that it will be much higher than it's actual value.

November 14, 2010

Langston and Berndon return with the fourth and final part of the college hoops preview podcast, where they give us their opinions on the rest of the country and give us an early look at March. Will Duke repeat? Is Jimmer the next JJ? Is Marcus Morris an elite college basketball player? You can learn all that and more by making the jump and pushing play.

Do you agree with the guys? Or do you think they've no idea what they're talking about? Let us know in the comments section.
