-Because of the violent nature of Andre Miller's hit on Blake Griffin (shown below), NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will be suspending the Portland point guard from ever playing in the NFL. Andre Miller responded, "No one wants to play in that weak ass league anyway. They wear helmets."
-LeBron James thinks the Cleveland Cavaliers should trade for Aaron Rodgers.
-Spike Lee's next HBO documentary will be about how the federal government mishandled the relocation of the New Orleans Hornets.
-Josh McDaniels isn't worried about his future. After having failed to successfully replace two-time Super Bowl winning coach Mike Shanahan in Denver, McDaniels remarked, "I'll probably do a better job replacing him in Washington. He's doing a much better job setting the bar low for me there, and if that doesn't work, there's gotta be something I can film for the C.I.A. in North Korea or someplace."
-The Pac-10 maintains that it has no interest in adding the NFC West to its list of possible teams for further expansion. NFL fans everywhere let out a collective groan.
-And over at The Faster Times, I confuse Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs for an actual basketball headline.
