I doubt this one would win the NFC Championship. It's moments like this when the world truly misses the comic genius of Dave Chapelle because this sappy sugar-coated song could only be written by one who serves pancakes after a basketball game and bathes in the healing waters of Lake Minnetonka. Hopefully, the Vikings wear blouses as their jerseys come Sunday because, in short, Prince wrote a terrible fight song to express the Viking love that has hibernated deep down in his assless-chaps-covered-soul--seriously, it sounds like it was written in the days of Fran Tarkenton yore.
In fact, the song from this Tarkenton highlight reel is much more inspirational.

Of course, the same band that recorded the theme music for Step by Step and Full House would also do the Fran Tarkenton "Little Engine That Could" youtube. Teach, you are like the Indiana Jones of finding bizarre youtubes.

I think my favorite part of the Tarkenton video is Deacon Jones saying, "Here's one guy whose career we tried to desperately put an end to."
