Truth Revealed: Wayne Brody is a Packer Fan

August 27, 2009

I found the following photo on Deadspin when I was reading up on why my team "sucks." Anyway, I want to draw your attention to the bearded man, wearing the baseball cap, with the red arrow pointing towards him.

I dare anyone to tell me that man, who is clearly draped in a Packers hoodie, is not Drody's father Wayne Brody. The Brody's are notoriously steadfast Bears fans, but this photo should shake them to their core, like Charlton Heston just handed them a human doll that talks.

Drody, please explain why your father is now a cheesehead, and, Mr. Brody, I always thought you were better than the Bears fan you pretended to be.

Don't know Mr. Brody but that looks like a dead ringer for Scott Mosier of the Kevin Smith movies.

Drody: What do Copernicus, Socrates, and Da Vinci all have in common? They were all once considered heretics. The world is not flat, my friend; it's one giant wheel of cheese.

Teach with another cryptic response. I'll tell you what shook me to the core. Seeing that fat guy shirtless at 8:30 am before imbibing even an ounce of coffee.

Ice: Wouldn't coffee have just made you even more alert to every detail of that man's shirtlessness?

Yes, but I would have been able to find the correct emotional response instead of just screaming and curling into the fetal position. As of now my co-workers have all canceled their lunch plans with me for the next three weeks.
