What is Emmit saying?
In Debacled, In Emmitt Smith, In ESPN, In Langston, In question of the year, In timewastersAugust 8, 2008
Emmitt Smith is back and he made a recent visit to Sportscenter's Cold Hard Facts. He seems like he has worked on his delivery, much like a pitcher coming off of Tommy John surgery. But instead of fixing it, he may of made it worse, evidence is the clip and if anyone can tell me what Emmitt is trying to say I would appreciate it.
I am so confused. I think my mind just got debacled listening to this. So far I understand that he wants Favre to realize that the Cowboys were an integral part of Emmitts' career, but why. We might have to bring in Robert Langdon or Ben Gates to figure this one out.

I think he's trying to say that after you play for one franchise for so long and then go and play for another one you realize that your love for your old franchise is equal to your love for the game. Those two loves become one in the same and playing for a new franchise makes it easier to step into retirement.
