Artie Lange took off enough time from doing horse to appear on the Letterman show on Tuesday. The comedian went on to chronicle a day spent with legendary baseball announcer Bob Uecker during spring training. The story refers to his trip to the booth with Norm McDonald and tells of Uecker's mastery of the cough button. As a former high school soccer announcer I can relate to how hard it is to remember to push the button while talking about how I would rather be somewhere else. That somewhere else, basically anywhere but in a booth next to the old drunk athletic director.
