In the shadows of Camden Yards, the aluminum number eight, a monument to the ironman Cal Ripken, was stolen. The police apprehended three men for the crime: Matthew Rayner, Jason Stoneberner, and Patrick Reynolds.

From the looks of it, the true ring leader hasn't been apprehended and is selling the statue on craigslist. Maybe if we answer the add, we can finally end the lawlessness created by "the number muncher."
